Working with us as a Partner in the Community means that you are at the forefront of change as the NDIS evolves.We are seeking to expand our team of allied health professionals to join us in the emerging pathway of Early Supports. The skills and experience we are looking for include:Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology.Minimum 3 years experience working in allied health with a paediatric caseload.A strong understanding of early childhood development and the ability to use this knowledge to coach & upskill families in an individualised way.In-depth knowledge of 0-9 year old developmental milestones & the impact of disability and developmental delay to engage with families & children.Strong communication & interpersonal skills & the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary, key worker framework to ensure wholistic, quality early interventions for families.Developed understanding of best practice guidelines and principles in early childhood intervention.Experience working alongside families to determine the supports and connections they require to achieve their child's individualised goals.Experience providing support & therapy to families using a strengths-based, coaching approach that values the child's natural environments.A desire to drive and improve service delivery to best impact the journey of both families and staff.Demonstrated experience providing clinical mentoring and support to staff.Experience working with the NDIS scheme is desirable.You will be supporting staff locally and potentially in regional areas.
