Join the industry leader to design the next generation of breakthroughs Field Service Engineer I We have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer I to join us at Honeywell in Kuwait. The purpose of this position is to perform and provide counsel on expert emergency, maintenance, testing, engineering, programming, designing, and start-up technical support across any type of electrical or mechanical equipment, systems, and subsystems (including software where applicable) from simple to moderately complex in nature. Performs or provides counsel on diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems (both hardware and software) beyond the capability of other Service technicians. FSE I may provide technical training, coaching, and work direction to other Service engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. FSE I programming and engineering capabilities should also be superior and specific in nature to warrant the leadership level. Key responsibilities

  1. Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment (as per trade expertise).
  2. Prepare the shop drawings and application projects specifically for SLJs.
  3. Supervision of field installation, cabling in SLJs.
  4. Determine equipment and accessory needs for implementation and inform FSL or FSS in time.
  5. Conduct design works, programming of HVAC controllers, Fire Panels, Access Control Panels.
  6. Install EBI, prepare graphics and necessary programming works as per specifications.
  7. Be ready on the job site during temporary or final acceptance of SLJs.
  8. Availability for and performance of duties outside of normal working hours as per agreed rosters and as directed.
  9. Ensure customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers, and service recipients.
  10. Ensure delivery of value to Honeywell clients and customers.
  11. Cost and time minimize the project.
  12. Support FSS or FSL for project cost and progress reporting.
  13. Report potential future failures, disturbances, and other opportunities for improvement.
  14. Estimate materials costs and quantities provide the information to the FSS or FSL, and Service Sales.
  15. Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information as instructed by team leader.
  16. Follow the Honeywell SOPs, HSE and quality systems while delivering the periodic maintenance services as well as the execution of spot services and SLJs.
Key skills and qualifications
  1. Minimum associate’s degree or technical trade school diploma; four-year degree in engineering or programming preferred.
  2. More than 3 years experience servicing HVAC, Fire, Security or access entry and alarm systems.
  3. Honeywell advanced programming skills.
  4. Strong fault-finding skills.
  5. Excellent Honeywell product knowledge.
  6. Ability to interact and build relationships with customers.
  7. Ability to acquire and demonstrate trade skills and/or product knowledge to meet the requirements of the role.
  8. Ability to apply knowledge and understanding of Honeywell products to develop solutions that meet customer’s requirements.
  9. Must be able to work with limited supervision and direct contractors or other service technicians.
  10. Excellent communication both written and verbal.
  11. The ability to work in the emergency.
  12. Strong commitment to safety and safe working environment.
  13. Ability to using the Honeywell products and technology for creating.
  14. The latest ideas to expand the business.
  15. Valid drivers License.
