Job Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient management of materials and supplies in the construction field. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities:

Supervision:

Lead and manage a team of warehouse personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and communication among staff.

Inventory Management:

Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies.
Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
Implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses and discrepancies.

Logistics Coordination:

Coordinate the timely delivery of materials to construction sites.
Schedule and manage the loading and unloading of materials to ensure efficient operations.
Work closely with project managers to ensure material availability aligns with project timelines.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure all warehouse operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct safety training and enforce proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Implement best practices for handling hazardous materials as required.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for improving warehouse efficiency and workflow.
Implement and monitor processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Collaborate with management to develop and execute strategies for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or relevant certifications preferred.
Experience: Minimum [X years] of experience in warehouse management or supervision, preferably in the construction industry.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
