Job Description
Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings for tube.
Weld and repair door assemblies and sub-components using the following processes:
GTAW - Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG)
GMAW - Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG)
These processes are employed to meet customer and internal quality standards. Responsibilities also include:
Welding small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.
Using specialized machinery for industrial welding and overseeing machines that perform the same job.
Maintaining and repairing all machinery.
Assessing welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.
Following and enforcing strict safety regulations, such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
Monitoring machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
Welding components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
Initiating a Preventive Action Request when realizing there is a chance of failure in the system.
Assisting with cleaning the workshop, tools, facilities, and equipment.
Providing labor services as required.
Uploading and downloading material and equipment.
Maintaining the working area clean.
Regularly checking machines and tools.
Reducing wastage/scrap.
Reporting product malfunctions.
Adhering to safety regulations.
