Our firm has been established for over 15 years and is growing from strength to strength. We are committed to delivering bespoke planning outcomes with a collaborative and personalised approach and offer a diverse range of planning expertise. Specialist areas include: planning strategy advice, strategic and master planning, development applications, due diligence and site investigations, highest and best use analysis, expert witness testimony and preparation of urban design concepts. The Role
- Due to recent growth we are looking to expand our team with an experienced and outcome focused town planner. This is a full-time role and will involve:
- Provision of professional town planning advice to a diverse range of clients
- Coordination of sub-consultants and other specialists to provide holistic planning outcomes
- Attendance at meetings with Council, State, clients and other consultants
- Resolution of complex planning issues
- Preparation of a full range of town planning correspondence
- Conducting planning research and investigations
- Assisting team members in meeting client needs as required
- Tertiary qualification in town planning
- 3 – 5 years in a similar role
- An understanding of town planning principles and methods and the ability to apply them
- Foundational knowledge of the Queensland planning framework
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to problem solve and exercise initiative to find solutions
- Self-motivated and resourceful individual who is comfortable working on a range of varied and challenging projects
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
