Team Leader - Hygiene

About the role We are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our busy hygiene team at our salad processing facility in Bairnsdale. You will be responsible for working towards achieving hygiene targets while working effectively and efficiently towards strict food quality standards. Afternoon shift available. We do work some public holidays and Sundays during our peak period (penalty rates apply) . Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise teams of hygiene workers
2. Motivate and mentor teams to encourage positive morale and high productivity
3. Achieving output and room clearance targets
4. Maintain a strong focus on working safely and adhere to food safety and cleanliness standards
5. Work in a cold room environment (between 2 and 4 degrees)

About You

1. Experience within FMCG, as a team leader or similar experience
2. Must be physically fit, able to repetitively lift between 5-20kg
3. Ability to think on your feet and outside the box
4. Hands on approach to achieving KPI’s
5. High accuracy rate and excellent attention to detail
6. Proficient computer and organizational skills
7. Some knowledge of CI (Lean Manufacturing concepts) - highly regarded but not essential
8. Promoting process changes
9. Awareness and high regards in food safety, quality assurance and HACCP, would be good but we will train you
