Assistant Accountant - Freelance role

Clemenger BBDO are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our Melbourne (CBD) based finance team in a freelance capacity until the end of the year. As Assistant Accountant, you will have 2+ years of experience and be responsible for supporting financial processes within the organisation. Working as part of our national team and directly with our Finance Director across five agencies within the Clemenger Group, you will support and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Finance team and contribute to maintaining accurate financial records. In doing this you will need to embrace and demonstrate the following attitudes and approaches to your work:
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot numerical errors.
- Organizational Skills: Efficiently manage tasks and maintain accuracy.
- Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Ability to prioritise financial tasks and the determination to see tasks through to the end.
- Assist with job reconciliations.
- Assist with debtors – following up on payments for outstanding invoices.
- Billings for high volume clients.
- Management of House expense invoices.
- Credit Card Reconciliations.
- Finance inbox management.
- Other ad‐hoc reporting.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Two years of relevant experience.
