Our vibrant department, supported by outstanding facilities, provides the ideal environment for fostering a love of sport and physical education in our studentsAbout youAs a Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a full range of Physical Education activities from EYFS to Year 6, including swimming, games, athletic activities, fundamental movement skills, gymnastics and dance. Candidates should have the ability to ensure PE lessons are enjoyable and meaningful for all pupils, developing confidence, competence and creativity and an awareness of the importance of an active, healthy lifestyle for wellbeing. Candidates must have qualified teacher status, with a specialism in Physical Education. Additionally, a recognised swimming teaching and pool safety qualification (ASA, STA or equivalent), and experience leading Primary swimming lessons, from learn to swim to competitive swimming in KS2 is essential.We are a British international school and all of our lessons are taught in English. A high standard of written and spoken English is, therefore, essential.
