Job Description :An opportunity for a Senior Mobile Test Automation Engineer, the candidate will be focusing on writing automated acceptance tests for Native iOS and Android Mobile AppsResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain and execute high quality automation tests to ensure sufficient test coverage for iOS and Android applicationsWriting clear, concise and readable acceptance tests in Appium for use by both technical and non-technical audiencesImplementing acceptance tests in Appium and Cucumber Participate in automation script code reviewsWorking continuously with the development and test engineering teams to automate testingWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, gather automation requirements, design automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable test automation solutionsDevelop and monitor test metrics and provide timely communication to key stakeholders on a regular basisKey Skills/ Experience :5-9 years of experience in mobile automation testingSelenium, Appium, Cucumber - Intermediate level or higherExperience of building mobile test automation frameworks and environments from scratch, along with mobile device hardware tests and non-functional testsExperience in React Native Apps, with backend built in NodeExperience in either Browserstack, SauceLabs, Mobile device farm cloudStrong knowledge of automation framework concepts and automation best practicesExperience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (either GitHub, Jenkins, BitBucket, BitRise, TeamCity)Great engineering practices with a focus on TDD and BDD principles and a strong focus on non-functional requirements at the beginning rather than an afterthoughtWorking with XML , YAML and JSON for content/data feeds and REST for consuming APIVersion control systems e.g. GithubStrong experience working in a Continuous Testing / DevOps environmentAbility to work without direct supervision while contributing to the success of the teamExcellent oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated high standard of coding practices including good design documentation and peer code-reviewsStrong problem-solving skills; the ability to analyze automation testing problems and develop actionable and appropriate tactical plans quickly PRB
