Finance Director

Due to this growth our client is now seeking to recruit a commercially focussed Financial Director to work closely with the directors of the business assisting them in taking the business to the next level in line with its 5 year strategy.ResponsibilitiesDrive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risksRetain constant awareness of the company's financial position and act to prevent problemsSet targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnelOversee the external audit and liaise directly with the auditorsDevelop the corporate fundraising strategy and manage relationships with banks, customers and suppliersPrepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly basis and report directly to the boardAssist with hiring a finance manager/assistant to support you in your roleEnsure the stock system is properly maintained and reporting accurate figures.Conduct analysis to make financial forecasts and cash flowsEnsure adherence to financial laws and guidelinesBudgetsForecastsRequirements and skillsProven experience as director of finance or similar roleIn-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practicesSolid knowledge of financial analysis and forecastingProficient in the use of MS Office and preferably experience with Xero.An analytical mind with a strategic abilityExcellent organizational and leadership skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
