Forecasting & Planning AnalystSince 2012, Capita have been working in partnership with the British Army to deliver best in class recruitment services. The partnership is responsible for attracting, sourcing, and selecting officers and soldiers for the Army (Regular and Reserve), meeting targets for quantity, quality and candidate experience.The role supports the delivery, improvement and maintenance of the forecasting function to help create an efficient and robust process that produces timely, accurate and credible outputs.You will own the weekly short term planning process including the maintenance of the forecasting and planning models, ensuring the recruiting operation is sufficiently resourced to meet demand, and deliver the contractual obligations of the recruiting partnership.Job title: Forecasting & Planning AnalystJob Description:What you'll be doing:Forecast modelling - Enhancing and maintaining forecasting and business planning functions to maximise accuracy, resource utilisation and efficiency through the application of forecasting and performance analysis.Capacity Planning - Supporting senior management to formulate actual and future resource requirements to inform business decisions around training and recruitment.Variance Tracking - Enhancing and maintaining forecast variance reporting to driveScenario Modelling - To formulate budget assumptions and future resource requirements for each of our clients, working with Finance and Operational teams where appropriate to inform the forecasting model.Data analysis - Process large, complex datasets to generate meaningful insights on performance and drive refinements in our forecasting assumptions.KPI Tracking - Track against our contractual measures, escalate inefficiencies, shortfalls, and risks with insight & solutionsActioning data requests and building dashboardsWhat we're looking for:Proven experience within a Data/Forecasting role in large scale operationAdvanced MS Excel, VBA, skills (SQL and PowerBI would be desirable)Strong communication, interpersonal and documentation skillsGood Stakeholder management skillsProject management experience would be beneficialKnowledge of configuring, deploying and designing data and reporting solutions to meet multiple stakeholder requirementsMust be able to be cleared to UK SC levelAbout Capita RPPAt Capita Recruiting Partnering Project, we're transforming the British Army's recruitment service.
