Position: Digitisation Lead - Neil Campbell Bequest Date: 16 November 2021 Location: Clayton Campus Salary: $102,120 - $112,722 pa HEW Level 08 Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role Bring your experience to lead the Library's Digitisation Centre and implement a digital preservation program. You will lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality digitisation and digital preservation services to ensure the Library's rich collections are stored, managed, accessible, and preserved. As the Digitisation Lead, you will support the Manager, Digitisation and Collection Management in the delivery of the Library's operations and practice, managing the digitisation functions and the Neil Campbell Digitisation Centre. You will collaborate with leaders across the Library and support the Director, Collections and Technology Division in the delivery of the University Library's strategy and operations. Working closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across the University, including External Relations, Development and Alumni (ERDA), eSolutions, Archives, and the Monash Museum of Modern Art (MUMA), you will optimise the Neil Campbell Bequest and establish a digitisation centre. Key Responsibilities Drive planning, designing, developing, and launching efficient digitisation systems and processes that support the Library's core functions for learning, teaching, and research. Engage with new technologies and embrace the integration principles established in Monash University's integration foundation. Provide leadership to the Digitisation Team in delivering high-level and professional services to achieve the Library's priorities. Offer expert advice at both strategic and operational levels. This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
