This role will assist the Practice Manager with the efficient day to day management of a busy and long established practice, alongside supporting the nursing team. *Employment Duties include :*-Ensuring practice compliance with regard to Health & Safety, CQC and GDC standards. - Completing clinical audits and maintain complaince logs via IComply -Monitoring practice equipment and ensure all are correctly serviced and maintained. -Stock control and weekly ordering of materials. - Chairing regular nurses meetings -HR requirements including training and inductions. -Gaining a full working knowledge of the practice computer system (SOE). -Attending refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPR. -Reporting all concerns to the Practice Director or Practice Manager. -Other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice. *Job Type*: Full-time, Monday – Friday 7.45am to 5.30pm (one hour unpaid lunch break)*To be considered for this role you must have:* Proven experience in a Dental Practice, with strong Dental Nurse skills. Candidates must have a current GDC registration. Previous extended duties are desirable but not essential. Ability to lead and manage a team Excellent verbal and communication skills Must be a team player IT literate with good numeracy ability Be comfortable following internal and external processes/procedures Should be personable, polite and patient Maintain confidentiality and data security Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £14.75-£16.00 per hour Benefits: * Company pension Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: * Cambridge: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Licence/Certification: * Valid GDC registration (required) Work Location: In person
