Our Super App simplifies the financial and informational hurdles that newcomers face, offering everything from banking solutions to essential resources, all designed to ease the transition into Canadian life.At Beacon, we believe in empowering immigrants to build successful futures in their new homes. Our platform is the first of its kind in Canada. It is being developed by a team of seasoned professionals and immigrants who understand the challenges and opportunities of beginning a new chapter in a new country. Our mission is to make the immigrant journey smoother, more accessible, and more rewarding by providing tailored financial services and support in Canada.Beacon needs an entrepreneurial Head of Sales to drive our B2B2C sales efforts. This role is crucial to deliver our early growth with educational institutions serving international students in Canada and corporations relocating international employees to Canada.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute Beacon's initial sales strategy and achieve early revenue targets.Establish relationships with Canadian colleges and universities to promote Beacon's solutions among international students and international student agencies.Identify, approach, and secure partnerships with corporate clients and relocation firms to position Beacon as a key partner for corporate global mobility.Collaborate closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to iterate on products and improve market fit based on early adopter feedback.Monitor market trends and customer insights to capitalize on growth opportunities.Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management and stakeholders.Be self-sufficient and resourceful to manage the entire sales and partnership funnel/stages.Required Skills and Experience:You are passionate about Beacon's mission of empowering future Canadians and recent immigrants.You have strong and demonstrated experience executing B2B2C sales strategies and thrive in this role.You have relationships with appropriate stakeholders at educational institutions and/or at key corporate clients.You love a dynamic and rapidly evolving, accountability-driven startup environment and analyzing data and market insights to drive business pivots.You are an excellent communicator and negotiator with the interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.You may have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferred but not required).You are looking for a hybrid role mixing in-office collaboration at our downtown Toronto location, outbound sale efforts, and appreciate flexibility for some remote work to meet your family obligations.You are flexible to travel as needed.You are familiar with a consultative and solution-minded sales approach with the ability to navigate the "system" effectively and close partnerships.You are familiar with sales pipeline management and relevant tools.This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a rapidly growing startup and make a significant impact from the ground up.
