Electrical EngineerLocationPortalegreSobre o nosso clienteMultinational in the Energy & Renewables sector.DescriçãoAssist in finding potential new sites across Portugal for deployment of solar, wind, storage, or other opportunities across the distribution and transmission network;Preparing and advising on grid applications to TSO and DSO;Analysing commercial offers and working with the network operators and external grid advisors to mitigate risks and achieve cost efficient grid connections;Identify and vet emerging technologies and techniques to optimise grid connections and ensure they comply with grid codes;Evaluate electrical and protection design;Produce single line diagrams to support applications;Produce technical specifications for contract tendering and project execution;Evaluate technical proposals and recommend project contractors;Supervise project execution, including Quality Assurance & Quality Control;Perform grid connection feasibility studies;Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies on existing and future connections;Perfil idealElectrical engineering background with electrical engineering degree qualification;Worked within the energy industry for at least 2 years, with direct experience in managing grid connections (from a developer, network operator or other role with significant exposure to the process from engineering, design or operation and maintenance);Understanding grid connection regulatory framework;Knowledge and understanding of power system studies, distribution and/or transmission network operations preferred;Renewable energy experience preferred;Experience with protections such as SIPROTEC or similar;Experience with SCADA systems such as SIMATIC or similar;Experience with electrical software such as Digsilent, ETAP, AutoCAD, PSSE or similar is desirable;VantagensA great professional opportunity for career growth.
