We offer a diverse range of curriculums, including both the British and American programs, as well as the International Baccalaureate (IB), Advance Placement (AP), and Ministry of Education (MOE) programs, exceeding minimum expectations and covering a wide array of subjects.Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher with Professional Educator License in Special Education and a Major in Special Education to support our students with special educational needs. This role involves designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), adapting the curriculum, and providing tailored support to meet the unique needs of each student. The SEN Teacher will collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure that our students receive the best possible educational experience. Key Responsibilities: Individualized Education Programs (IEPs): Develop, implement, and regularly review IEPs for students with special educational needs, ensuring they are tailored to individual requirements and aligned with educational goals. Curriculum Adaptation: Modify and differentiate the curriculum and teaching strategies to accommodate the diverse learning styles and needs of students with special needs. Instructional Delivery: Deliver engaging and effective lessons, using a variety of instructional techniques and materials to meet the learning needs of all students. Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, using formal and informal assessment tools, and provide detailed feedback to students, parents, and colleagues. Adjust teaching strategies based on assessment data to ensure continuous improvement. Collaboration: Work closely with classroom teachers to provide support and resources for students with special needs. Collaborate with other SEN professionals, including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists, to develop and implement comprehensive support strategies. Parent Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with parents and caregivers. Provide regular updates on student progress and involve them in the development and review of IEPs. Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education. Share knowledge and strategies with colleagues to enhance overall teaching practices within the school. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, IEPs, assessments, and communication with parents and other stakeholders. Inclusive Environment: Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports the social and emotional development of all students, encouraging a positive and respectful learning atmosphere. Requirements Education: Professional Educator License in Special Education and a Major in Special Education. Experience: Proven experience working with students with a range of special educational needs, including those with learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, and developmental disorders. Skills: In-depth knowledge of IEP development and implementation. Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and motivate students. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and specialists. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
