As the Director of Continuing Education, you will play a crucial role in developing and promoting educational opportunities at Catholic Theological Union. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including coordinating continuing education programs, advising students, and managing special initiatives such as the Summer Institute, Lifelong Learners Program, and Hesburgh Renewal Program.Your responsibilities will include collaboration with multiple departments to promote and manage continuing education offerings, providing academic advisement, coordinating significant educational events, and maintaining the quality and accessibility of CTU's lifelong learning programs.Requirements:Qualities Required:Demonstrated understanding of, sensitivity to, and appreciation for CTU's Catholic context and particular missionPossess a collaborative and team-oriented approachAbility to practice discretion in sensitive mattersExcellent interpersonal and counselling-type skillsDemonstrated computer skills: Microsoft OfficeDedication to adhering to CTU's diversity statement and collaborating within a diverse and inclusive environmentEducation and Experience:MDiv, MA in Theology or Doctor of MinistryMinimum eight years of ministry experienceProven ability to work cross-culturally with students, faculty, and staffExperience in higher education preferredSuperior communications skills: writing and speaking
