The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for managing existing relationships with brokers and manage the day to day responsibility of the floorplan on a daily basis for a niche, boutique financial services firm based in Pretoria.Reporting to the Head of New Business, the KAM will promote financial products and services to existing brokers, and provide them with customized solutions to meet their commercial clients needs.Other key activities include:Maintain accurate records of sales activities and broker interactions in the company's CRM systemProvide exceptional customer service to maintain relationships with existing brokersCollaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure that brokers receive a seamless experienceManage the day to day floorplan tasks including placements, settlements, reporting, stock takes and the relationship with the underlying clients.Products include:Asset based financeInvoice discountingFloorplan financingRequirements:Commercial qualification (finance, marketing, business management or similar will be advantageous)Experience in business development, or account management in the commercial finance industry will be beneficialStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and brokersExcellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamStrong Excel skills and attention to detailWho is the ideal candidate?The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for commercial finance, and wants to develop their career in this industry.
