We are looking for one full-time Chinese Cook to join the progressive team in Wellington. Ideal candidate must have the followings: Be fit enough to work under pressure in a busy kitchen. Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime. Must be flexible to work late-night shifts and be able to manage two shifts in a day. Full commitment is required. Able to work under pressure. Be reliable and responsible. Working hard and healthy. Be able to pass a police check. Job Responsibilities: Ensuring all Chinese Cuisine dishes are prepared to the specifications. Ensuring all Chinese Cuisine recipes and preparation requirements are met. Ensuring temperatures, seasonings and flavors are to specification. Ensuring all foods are presented and served in a timely manner and in the correct sequence. Ensuring the storage of foods and others meet statutory Health and Safety requirements. Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements. Updating and developing new cooking techniques and procedures in accordance with the new menu. General kitchen cleaning and hygiene duties. In return, we will offer: A stable position in Wellington. A supportive and friendly team environment. Good pay $29.66 per hour. Guaranteed 30 to 50 hours per week.
