Team/Role Overview The Senior Java Developer is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. It is a senior development level position responsible for accomplishing results to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems programming activities. What you'll do:

1. Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance.
2. Develop well designed, testable, efficient code, code refactoring to keep code clean.
3. Deliver high quality products with continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
4. Work proactively & independently to address project requirements, identify the performance bottleneck and tuning performance of system.

What we'll need from you:

1. 5-8+ years of Java Development experience
2. Experience with CICD / agile delivery mechanisms.
3. Diverse experience utilizing tools in Microservices architecture applications using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Zookeeper, AWS etc.
4. Experience with container service development in docker/K8s environment.
5. Experience with any messaging technologies such as JMS, Kafka, Rabbit MQ.
6. Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Oracle, and Elasticsearch)
7. Strong communication skills and good command of English
8. Knowledge of resilient architecture, design and development skills is preferred.
9. Knowledge of big data processing framework is preferred (Flink, Pinot, Spark)
10. Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
