Mill UAE Production Machine Supervisor - Job DetailsUnited Arab EmiratesJob Identification: 807Posting Date: 02/05/2024, 09:52 AMJob Schedule: Full timeJob DescriptionWhat You'll do:Equipment Operation: Participates as a member of the team in the operation for a complete production line in an allocated plant area to ensure continuous and efficient operations and the meeting of line production targets.System Performance: Monitors system performance and, under the direction of the paper machine supervisor, manipulates calibrations and settings to ensure synchronization of unit stages, efficient throughput, and minimal downtime.Troubleshooting: Troubleshoots routine issues by implementing CIL and defect handling systems during the process through recalibration of the Centre line in order to keep production breakdowns and unplanned stops to a minimum. Escalates more serious malfunctions to the paper machine supervisor.Reporting & Documentation: Logs operating parameters and DMSs to ensure operations are within normal limits and that all irregularities are reported to the paper machine supervisor for advice.Raw Materials: Reports availability of raw material consumables against the production plan to the supervisor to prevent shortages from interrupting production.Maintenance: Reports malfunctions and undertakes minor maintenance activities to optimize operating efficiency and prolong asset life and value.What You'll need:First level supervisory potential.A minimum of 3 years of experience on paper machines.Strong knowledge of operating and safety procedures and standards.Strong knowledge and understanding of equipment and processes in the area.
