Expeditors satisfies the increasingly sophisticated needs of international trade through customized solutions and seamless, integrated information systems.Scope of PositionEnsure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service within the Ocean Department.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure smooth and timely freight process flowEnsure accurate and timely data entry into our operational systemTrack and Trace Ocean Files and reportingMeet compliance at all times to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulationsUnderstand department process flow, and look for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivityEnsure all customers' standard operating procedures are in place and updated in the DLSOPsOversee communications, ensuring timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)Escalate problems to Management when necessaryMinimum education level - 12th year of Secondary school or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceUnderstanding of ocean documentation process a plusEffective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive resultsPro-active with strong organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishReporting StructureReports to Ocean Export Lead Agent, Supervisor, and Manager.Expeditors offers excellent benefits:Health Plan: MedicalEmployee Stock Purchase PlanTraining and Personnel Development Program
