Sophos is headquartered in Oxford, U.K. More information is available at www.sophos.com.Role SummaryThe Sales Engineer supports the sales organization in all technical matters regarding pre-sales, sales calls, and customer awareness.What You Will DoSupport sales team with technical expertise for customers 1000 plus usersBuild meaningful relationships with key customer technical decision-makers to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutionsServe as subject matter expert and technical lead for Sophos technology portfolio and conduct technical virtual and onsite meetings, product demos, and proof of concepts with customersProvide secondary sales engineering coverage for field sales teams in 1001+ user band: RFP Management, Backup SE Support, POC Staging and setup, Onsite travel as neededProvide support for customer success motions to promote cross-selling and portfolio expansion within current Sophos customer base utilizing activities: Health Checks, Threatparser, NIST Assessments, MDR TabletopWork with Channel Sales team and partner community to create pipeline through indirect engagements.What You Will Bring3-5 years in a sales role working with decision makers in large organizations with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.Foundational knowledge of Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services as well as Incident Response offerings.Foundational technical cybersecurity understanding including protection methods for Networks, Cloud Workloads, Windows, Linux, and Mac OS devices.Strong verbal communication skills for delivering high quality, engaging product demos.Ability to deliver outstanding customer experience and clearly articulate competitive advantages, both technical and business level.Experience of selling through and with channel partners, and ability to thrive in a team selling environment.In Canada, the base salary for this role ranges from $91,000 to $153,000. In addition to base salary, we offer additional compensation including bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.
