The role involves conducting in-depth research and analysis of fintech startups, identifying investment opportunities, and providing key insights to support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of financial markets, fintech trends, and early-stage startup ecosystems. #### **Key Responsibilities** - **Market Research & Analysis**: Conduct detailed analysis of the fintech sector, identifying emerging trends, growth opportunities, and potential investment targets. - **Financial Modeling & Valuation**: Create and maintain complex financial models, forecasts, and valuations to evaluate fintech companies’ financial health and potential returns. - **Investment Opportunity Assessment**: Evaluate business models, competitive landscapes, and industry positioning of fintech startups. Perform due diligence on prospective investments. - **Industry Networking**: Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, founders, and investors in the fintech ecosystem. - **Portfolio Management Support**: Assist in the management of the fintech investment portfolio, tracking performance and recommending portfolio adjustments. - **Reporting & Presentations**: Prepare investment reports, presentations, and investment memos for senior management and the investment committee. - **Risk Analysis**: Identify and evaluate financial risks associated with fintech investments and propose mitigation strategies. - **Startup Mentorship**: Provide insights and advice to fintech startups in the portfolio to help them achieve growth and operational efficiency. #### **Qualifications & Skills** - **Education**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
