Logistics managers are responsible for overseeing the overall supply chain management and organizing and monitoring supply and distribution of goods, managing the entire order cycle.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements.Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability.Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments.Resolve any arising problems or complaints.Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.Ensure health and safety standards are met.Monitor stock and manage waste.Minimum Qualifications:BS in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain.Minimum of 8-10 years of construction experience with at least 5 years of experience working in the local market.Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager.Record of successful distribution and logistics management.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
