IntroductionThe Quality Management & Assurance (QMA) department is part of the ASML corporate Quality & Excellence (Q&E) organization. The QMA department owns and continuously improves the ASML Quality Management System (QMS) and is responsible for providing assurance that ASML's QMS and business processes are capable of assuring quality in our products and services, whilst maintaining compliancy with among others the ISO:9001 standard.As Quality Assessor & Lead Auditor, you are responsible for planning and executing part of the Quality Assessment Program and part of the Quality Audit Program. You will perform assessments and audits, using these to provide guidance to ASML business process owners. This guidance in related to capabilities and compliance in the context of processes and quality controls and also ensures maintaining compliance within the ISO:9001 certification framework. By doing so, you will drive maturing the business process framework, continuously improving the QMS and ultimately enhancing the quality performance of ASML.Job DescriptionThe Quality Assessor & Lead Auditor is responsible for:Executing and reporting out on Quality Assessments and 2nd line ISO:9001 Quality Assurance Audits.Performing stakeholder management and communication related to Quality Assessments, Quality Audits and related improvements. Supplying input and assistance in optimizing the means & methods and ways of working.Maintaining alignment between audit and assessment activities, securing the right ownership of related observations and associated follow-up actions.Contributing to the global quality management & assurance competence center, specifically related to quality assessments and quality audits (standards, trainings, capabilities, etc.).Supporting compliance related activities related to our ISO:9001 certificate.EducationMaster or Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science or Management Sciences.ExperienceA thorough understanding of and experience with quality management concepts and principles (e.g., APQC, TQM) and audit and assessment methodologies (i.e., ISO, EFQM, CMMI, etc.) and their application towards in a mature quality management system.Seniority and experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, Quality Assessments, documentation control.10+ years working experience preferably at high-tech companies, working with complex processes and products.Audit and assessment experience, preferably in a high-tech industry and using known methodologies.Professional skillsCertified Lead Auditor or equivalent auditing / assessment / consultancy experience - able to independently use audit, assessment and/or consulting techniques.In depth knowledge and understanding of International Quality Standards e.g., ISO19011, ISO9001, IATF16949.Broad knowledge of assessing, auditing and implementing quality tools, means and methods.Personal skillsInfluencing without power.Strong networker with good negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills.Strong stakeholder management skills.Strong business sense to drive organizational and transformational improvements.Takes initiative and has a persistent and pro-active can-do attitude.Acts like an ambassador for Quality & Excellence and stimulates continuous improvement behavior.Integrity; impartial and independent in judgement and report.Critical thinking while maintaining a collaborative setting.Context of the positionThe Quality Assessor & Lead Auditor:Reports to the head of the QMA department.Interfaces with (among others):Quality Assessment Program Manager.Quality Audit Program Manager.ASML line management, subject matter experts and Business Process Owners.ASML Business Performance Improvement product and initiative team members.Sector Quality leaders and quality functions.Business Process Management groups.Risk & Business Assurance department.Other InformationWe have part of our team located in The Netherlands and a part in Taiwan.
