Information Technology Project Manager - FreelanceAbu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates | Posted on 06/08/2022 Information Technology Project Manager Duration- 11 months (subject to extension) Overview We arelooking for a senior professional with at least 10 years of experience inTechnology, preferably someone who has worked as a senior manager in a largeorganization. The role holder should have extensive knowledge and experience inleading an IT department transformation particularly from a process, system andgovernance perspective. Thesuccessful candidate should have experience in building technology / digitaltransformation strategy aligned to the business, reviewing and refining ITprocesses and ways of work, project management, designing and rolling-outTechnology governance model, systems and communication plan to engage with keystakeholders. The role willreport to the Support Services Transformation Office, and will be fullyresponsible for overseeing the execution of technology transformationinitiatives that support in improving effectiveness and efficiency of thetechnology department. Scope of Work Lead the implementation of initiatives of the ITTransformation Journey of COMPANY in collaboration with the TechnologyDirector, covering process, system, metrics & reporting, and stakeholderengagement dimensions. Assess and understand the maturity of the IT function and execute plansfor areas that needs immediate improvement. Provide support to the Technology Director in building atechnology strategy and identifying initiatives that support in improvingTechnology department positioning Support the Technology departmentin developing a standardized project management methodology, processes and byoverseeing the implementation of tools, workflows and notifications to enhancevisibility and transparency for users. Advise the Technology department inre-establishing the IT governance function by developing governance strategy,defining interaction model between IT functions and COMPANY sections /departments. Advise the Technology department indeveloping the IT Enterprise landscape by cataloguingapplications/tools/systems, services and developing architectural blueprints. Continuously monitor and measurethe progress of initiatives and ensure execution as per the set timelines andpredetermined outcomes. Analyze post-implementationresults, KPIs, Workflow processes. Develop essential capabilities that differentiatebetween a sustained transformation that show long -term results rather thanshort-term solutions. Document and monitor success factors across the Technology transformation project. Develop a change management plan,and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build strongrelationships to ease the challenge of implementations.
