Consultant Commercial Power Billing
Consultant Commercial Power Billing is responsible for handling electricity billing issues with Division/Sub-Division of DISCOs. The role reports directly to the Regional Manager Logistics Operations with an extended team of 10 team members.
Responsibilities:
Ensure proper and timely billing of electric connections
Check the bills and ensure component-wise authenticity of generated bills
Check and ensure recording of correct KWH, KVARH & MDI segments on bill and meters
Ensure all faulty meters are replaced promptly
Get bill adjustments/rebates from the concerned DISCOs where overbilling is observed
Monitor monthly Power factor on bill to avoid levy of power factor penalty on bills
Monitor charging of taxes and levies on bills as per tariff schedule and FBR orders
Monitor MDI recorded and billed with a comparison of sanction load
Support field operation teams for resolution of commercial power-related issues
Ensure timely payment of the bill to avoid levy of Late Payment Surcharges
Arrange extension of due date of bills where necessary
Manage exemption of LPS in case of non-payment of bills on genuine grounds
Handle independent transformer-based new connection on division/sub-Division level of DISCOs
Challenge the detection bills against wrong audit imposed on us from DISCO
Requirements:
Bachelor's/Master's in business administration
Minimum 10 Years of experience in a relevant area
Effective communication and reporting skills
Exceptional problem-solving skills
