Areas of Responsibility & brief description: - Ensure prompt response and timely booking of all international & domestic airline tickets.Ensure visas and domestic booking requests are processed on time.Manage the overseas medical & travel insurance for employees travelling for business purposes.Responsible for arrangement and issue of foreign exchange to the travelers.Ensure lowest fares in booking of air tickets/ Hotels/ Transportation etc.Compliance with VFS Global's information security policies and procedures applicable to the role.Ensure adherence to the Standard operating procedures, policies while processing any booking request.Ensure adherence to mandated turn-around time for all travel requests.Maintain the ticket register for international and domestic ticket issuance on daily basis for comparison of ticket costs.Ensure documentation & accounting of all the daily transactions for travel purposes.Liaise with Finance for timely payment to vendors (Agents /Airlines /Hotels /Car rentals /Insurance /Forex) by submitting the invoices in the required format.Maintain records of all travel & related expenses.Liaise with travel agents, airlines and vendors for domestic and International Hotel bookings.Ensure professional development by attending necessary trainings required for the job.Ensure internal customer satisfaction.Negotiate with vendors for best prices PartialJudicious use of natural resources.Shall adhere to environment health and safety policy/objectives and guidelines of the organization.Indicative KRA's/Budgetary and Revenue Responsibilities: -Documentation & AccountingIssuance of Travel InsuranceAirline Bookings (International & Domestic)Adherence to turnaround timeQualification & Experience: -Education: Minimum: Graduate or global equivalent degreeAdditional: Preferably IATA /UFTAA qualifiedExperience: 5+ years' experience Travel Industry knowledge /experience PRB
