Senior Project Manager

Engineering or Computer Science Master or Bachelor degree or similar.Responsibilities:Definition of project goals, objectives, strategies and priorities.Change Control: Change control procedure, management.Expectation Management: Managing teams to established deadlines in a client environment.Risk Management: Project risk assessment (including schedule and technical) and management.Role design and management.Setting up the project organization and securing resources from cross functional teams (including hardware, software, test groups, etc).Project Planning, Monitoring and Controlling Project Performance as well as subsequent reporting on progress and cost in the most efficient way to achieve the project objectives.Executing the project, ensuring that the goals are met and the requirements are fulfilled to the correct quality standard.Manage new or changed requirements as well as risks.Manage internal and external project dependencies to ensure on-time project delivery and delivery to customer commitment.Secure and maintain adequate and sufficient information distribution.Building up an efficient project team and related forums as chairman, as well as for dissolving it with lessons learned for organizational learning.Driving for Operational Excellence in all areas using standardized tools and techniques to ensure optimal utilization of resources and applied processes.Track Project Bugs & Technical Issues to closure.Job SpecificationMinimum Requirements:5 to 8 years of Technical Project Manager experience, willing to take on responsibility for managing and leading projects.Technical planning and organizing are strong characteristics.High structural ability to create and drive the development teams on different levels.Self-motivated with the drive to solve problems and expand knowledge.Project Management in a large matrix global organization is a big plus.Excellent communicator, decisive, results-driven, people-oriented with good networking skills and ability to motivate employees.Strong ability to see the whole picture and focus on important details in a pragmatic and result-oriented way with ability to challenge when needed.International experience is a merit.Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE, AGILE certification, with requirements for continued professional development is a plus.Team player with outstanding skills in cooperation amongst key stakeholders.Proven and documented leadership skills.Excellent written and oral communications skills in English.Engineering or Computer Science Master/Bachelor degree or similar.Location: Information Technology and Services - Islamabad, Pakistan.
