Experience : Minimum 10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years of experience leading greenfield hospital construction projects. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic planning and development of greenfield hospital projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, market demands, and industry best practices.
  • Develop and implement project management methodologies, tools, and templates to streamline project delivery and ensure consistency across all greenfield hospital initiatives.
  • Oversee the development of detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures, resource allocation, risk assessments, and contingency planning for new hospital builds.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery within budget and quality standards.
  • Establish effective communication channels and reporting mechanisms to keep stakeholders informed about project status, milestones, and critical decisions related to greenfield hospital developments.
  • Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies, market analyses, and site evaluations for potential greenfield hospital locations, considering factors such as demographics, competition, accessibility, regulatory compliance, and growth potential.
  • Develop long-term strategic plans, roadmaps, and business cases for greenfield hospital projects, incorporating financial projections, operational models, and clinical program offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical leadership, operations, finance, legal, and construction, to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals, equipment suppliers, and regulatory bodies to plan and design state-of-the-art healthcare facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards, codes, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and presentations to stakeholders, addressing concerns and communicating project status effectively.
  • Facilitate decision-making processes and seek necessary approvals from relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Analyze and interpret healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices to ensure the strategic plans for greenfield hospitals align with the evolving healthcare landscape.
  • Establish effective communication channels and stakeholder engagement strategies to gather input, address concerns, and maintain transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure design and construction activities align with the strategic vision, clinical requirements, and operational needs of the new hospital facilities.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery within budget and quality standards.
  • Lead the project closeout phase, ensuring the successful transition from construction to hospital operations.
  • Coordinate the commissioning of healthcare facilities, including equipment installation, system testing, and staff training.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project documentation, handover procedures, and knowledge transfer processes
  • Conduct post-project reviews and capture lessons learned to continuously improve strategic planning and project management practices for future greenfield hospital initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, Project Management, or a related field; is preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex healthcare projects within established timelines and budgets.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare facility design, construction methodologies, and industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders
