Responsibilities:SupportVestas safety policies: maintain safety policies and environmentalcontainment. Ensure a clean and safe work environment. Identify andmitigate hazards. Participate in daily safety meetings at projectsite. Complete monthly safety training assignments onscheduleProvide business and administrativesupport to project leadership for assigned projects and sites.Collect construction and site documentation, including the assemblyof job books for each turbine on site. Process projectdocumentation, including but not limited to transport,installation, commissioning, QA/QC forms, and contractortimesheets. Verify documentation for accuracy. Organize, sort, andfile documents according to defined processes and procedures.Ensure physical and electronic document control• Manageend-to-end construction inventory and tooling movementtransactions, including receiving site containers, conducting cyclecounts, handling reconciliation of discrepancies, and coordinatingcontainer returns. Maintain physical and electronic inventorycontrol; ship and receive parts/materials/tools; identify andrecord serial numbers; create and monitor purchase orders/purchaserequests; consume/return parts. Register non-conformity reports(NCRs) in SAP for the project, upload related documentation, andensure inventory is consumed and labor hours are recorded to NCRsappropriately.Take direction from andcommunicate daily with Construction Manager (CM) and LeadTechnicians. Assist CM to fulfill customer requests and resolvecustomer issues in timely and cost-effective manner. Establishappropriate on-site communications with customer personnel.Collaborate with technicians in execution of inventory control.Responsible for site compliance to approved processes; provide SAPfundamental instruction and assist with system problem solving anderror processing. Ensure availability of tools and spares on site.Direct LEAN processes at the project site to increase efficiencyand reduce waste.Complete transactions in atimely and accurate manner, entering daily updates to the SiteProgress Log and uploading As Built documentation to shared driveto ensure accurate financials and scheduling. Enter work hoursdaily. Perform administrative tasks related to site setup,including establishing new vendors and ordering fixtures,containers, and supplies for a new or existing site office. AssistCM to monitor work hours, budget, andexpenditures.Utilize defined work instructionswhere available to complete job functions and solve problems,seeking consultation from higher level staff to resolve problemsoutside position requirements andresponsibilities.Support other sites to solveissues impacting the greater organization. Promote the values ofSimplicity, Accountability, and Collaboration. Take direction fromand communicate on regular basis with Portland based manager.Respond to queries in timely manner. Proactively look foropportunities to improve job processes and procedures andcommunicate ideas through appropriatechannels.Qualifications:Highschool diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor'sdegree preferred or equivalent experience.3+years of experience working as Vesta's wind site businesssupport; significant experience in project management and trainingothers is required• Experienced in working with SAPenterprise resource program software in role such as a dispatch /planner, stock keeper, technician, front desk function, andadvanced forecasting and planning.Demonstratedability and experience in planning, logistics, scheduling, andinventory control.Comprehensive verbal andwritten communication skills; enthusiastic and effective listener;ability to effectively influence others to adhere to standardprocesses and procedures.Advanced PC computerskills in MS Office (Word, Excel) andSAPAbility to work in both a team-basedenvironment and alone; candidate should be capable of workingremotely without need for supervision.Abilityto identify problems and solve them through root cause analysis,significant analytical skills and high attention todetail.Solid time management and demonstratedorganizational skills to ensure both individual and assigneddepartment goals are met. LEANexperience.Approximately 90% travel required,valid driver's license required. Passport for internationaltravel.PhysicalDemandsWhile performing the tasksof this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use ofhands and fingers to handle and feel; reach with hands and arms;and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit,stand and walk, as well as travel to other locations (constructionproject site), some that may be remote. Specific vision abilitiesrequired by this job include close vision, distance vision, depthperception, and ability to adjust focus. Will be required to lift25 lbs. and push/pull up to 50 lbs.(force).
