We are presentlyrecruiting for a Mechanic / Service Technician for our clients, awell-established Main Dealer in County Kerry. The company inquestion has a very strong after sales record and requires anexperienced Mechanic to join their well-established team. You willbe tasked with all aspects of the trade, NCT preparation, fullservicing, recalls and other duties as required. This is a fulltime, permanentposition.Duties:Conductingvehicle checks to see if repairs are necessary and the level ofurgencyrequired.Providingcustomers with an estimate for completing thework.Testingvehicles to ensure the repairs were successful. This process maynecessitate a roadtest.Conductingannual NCTs onvehicles.Standardservicing ofvehicles.Workingwith car accessory databases and orderingparts.Updatingvehicle maintenancerecords.Maintainingwork logs, repairs, and maintenancerecordsA fulldriving license, 2 years previous experience (preferable at maindealer) and an ability to work as part of a team are essential.Salary is in the region of 32 - 45,000 depending on qualificationsand experiences.
