Develop Civil & Structuraldesign from the Conceptual Stage through the Detailed Design Stageproviding sustainable and efficientsolutions.Coordination with other disciplines,project & sites for Civil inputs, schedules and relatedissuesMonitoring and meeting the projectschedules on submissions of Civildeliverables.Prepare Design Basis, technicalspecifications/philosophies, work scope/tenderdocuments/narrativesPreparing / CheckingCalculations, General Arrangement, Detail Drawings, 3D Models andMTOAttending inter-discipline meetings,internal model reviews & model reviews withclientReview of vendor drawings/otherdiscipline drawings for adequacy of Civil design inputrequirementsEvaluate supplier/subcontractorbids for compliance to internal & client specifications andscopes of work.Provide technical evaluation ofsupplier bids and present to projectmanagement.Lead, motivate, coach and manage ateam independently.Should actively participatein various project workshops/reviews such as HAZID/Layout Reviews,3D Model Reviews/Constructabilityreviews.Ensure engineering competence,interpersonal / team building skills & leadershipskills.Ensuring all deliverables comply withquality as per Wood /Client specifications &standards.Ensure that the budget, the timingand the quality of the engineering works is executed asrequired.Implement staffing development plansand assign staff to specific projects or proposalsQualificationsB.E /B.Tech Civil Engineering as aminimum. Candidates with Masters in Structural Engineering arepreferredAt least 15 years of experience inOil & Gas projects Design from Conceptual stage to DetailedDesign StageMust have sound working experiencein using British and American standards for civil &structural works.Hands on experience inindustry software, such as STAAD Pro Connect Edition, Mat 3D,Foundation 3D, PROKON, 3D Model Review Tools (SPR & NavisWorks), MS Office Suite, etc.Able tocommunicate in English both in verbally and writing with otherdisciplines & multinational work forces in effectivemannerExperience in design of Plant layouts,roads, drainage systems, etcExperience indesigning different types of concrete and steel structureslike,Structures like Pipe racks/ Pipe bridges,SleepersProcess structures/Equipment supportstructuresEquipment foundations such as HeatExchangers, Vertical & Horizontal Vessels/Drum, Columns/Towers, Very large Tanks, Spheres etcDynamicload structures of Compressor &PumpsEquipment Shelters, Plant Buildings likeControl Room, Substation buildings, Admin blocks, SiteCamps,Blast resistance design of Buildings andStructures INT
