Job Title: CAD Engineer - Automotive (SolidWorks Proficient)Job Description-We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled CAD Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsiblefor utilizing your expertise in SolidWorks(Tool) to design and develop automotive components, focusing oncomplex sheet metal, plastic trim, and Assemblies. You will possess a strong understanding of automotive designprinciples and be able to apply them to solve challenging engineering problems.Responsibilities-Utilize SolidWorks to create and maintain 3D models of automotive components, including sheet metal parts, plastic trim, and Assemblies.Develop detailed and accurate engineering drawings by industry standards GD&TPerform design analyses to ensure functionality, and manufacturability, and meet all necessary design criteria.Development of Chassis using Weldment Module according to the datums given by other Engineering Departments. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and manufacturing personnel to ensure smooth design implementation.Stay up-to-date on the latest SolidWorks features and best practices.Troubleshoot and resolve complex design and engineering challenges with a creative and solution-oriented approach(Especially in Plastic Trim) Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards.Qualifications & Requirements-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Solidworks or other professional CAD software (ie. Catia, UGNX)Proficient in SolidWorks & have a thorough knowledge of all modulesExperience with sheet metal design, Weldment, and assemblies is highly preferred.Strong understanding of automotive design principles and manufacturing processes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Solidworks Certified Professional(CSWP) Certificate will be beneficial.
