Qualification & ExperienceEngineering graduate with 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining C++ and java applications (Primarily C++).Basic knowledge of Fortran/Corba, GCC/OTT is necessary.Knowledge of Swing and/or SWT/Eclipse framework, JSF, Hibernate is needed.At least 2 years of experience in development using C, C++ applications. RUST is a plus.Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL server, PostgreSQL etc). NoSQL knowledge is a plus.Knowledge on Unix/Linux server with shell scripting is a must.Knowledge of Git and Github is a must and basic knowledge on other DevOps tools such as Jenkin's, Sonarqube, Kibana, CAST, Confluence, Jira/VersionOne etc. is preferableExperience of data migrations, app modernization will be a plus.Basic understanding of test frameworks (JUnit, Jest, Cypress, GoogleTest) in both frontend and backend technologies.Knowledge of SAFe agile methodology and workflow, preferably using VersionOne/JIRA.Ability to collaborate with a diversity of customer's teams to address important issues and to resolve them.Experienced in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, adaptation and learning of the business processes speak of the customer especially around Aircraft electrical data management.Experienced in working within a product delivery lifecycle, Agile/scrum experience in software development (plus).Strong knowledge of code analysis tools. Ability to analyze code from suppliers and share feedback with them.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain , C and C++ based applications.Modernize, rewrite the existing code as and when needed.Support and maintenance of the application. Addressing Incident, problem and Change requests.Manage and update application operational documentation, application knowledge articles.Code Analysis, ability to use the code analysis/optimization tools such as SonarQube, Kibana, CAST.Proficiency on SQL database on writing SQL queries and procedures to store and access the Core data model.Produce high quality, well tested and documented source code.Work as part of an agile team inside the SAFe methodology.Assemble and edit source code repositories to develop a software stack for the product needs.Works closely with customers in line with Agile Scrum/DevOps ways of working (e.g. gathering requirements, creating technical specifications and architecture documents, creating good documentation, managing a project timeline).Develops design specifications and parameters that are in compliance with products' architectural blueprints.Track record of successfully deploying and managing configuration management systems.Participates in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including the analysis, design, test and integration of products.Deploys highly available, scalable, maintainable, monitored systems and services.Manages the adoption of tooling and industry best practices among development teamsWillingness to adapt and support during european working hours (CET).Application Technology:Server side: C, C++, Fortran, Corba,, Linux, Oracle 12c, gcc, OTT (Oracle Object type Translator)Client side: Java, Swing, SWT/Eclipse frameworks PRB
