Let's move ideas from concept to reality together.Typical duties and responsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain servers in a Linux and Windows environment.Performs administration of UNIX and Windows systemsInstalling, configuring, deploying IT Infrastructure: Computer Hardware (Servers, and Workstations), software's, printers, and scannersDesign, develop, and implement infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools through scripts such as BASH and PowerShellDevelop tools to help increase functionality and efficiency of available infrastructure.Maintain documentation for procedure and configurations.Maintain software repositories and apply software updates.Tune operating systems and applications to increase performance and reliability. Coordinate with vendors to resolve hardware and software problems.Performs Backup/Restore configuration, implementation, and administration.Support Engineered systems environment such as Exadata, ZDLRA and Big Data appliances.Virtualization - EXSI and VCenter server administration, maintenance and troubleshootingWork as Level 2/3 support and provide remote support to users and global IT teams. Maintaining IT infrastructure, user, group accounts and Group Policies within Active DirectoryCreating and managing Mailboxes, Distribution groups in Exchange 2016/Office 365Required skills and Qualifications5+ years of experience in designing, developing, implementing and maintain IT infrastructure.Strong scripting skills in BASH. Python scripting will be added advantage.Knowledge of automation technologiesExperience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Postfix, Apache HAPROXY, MySQL, Nginx, Postgres etc.Solid understanding of configuration management tools, Ansible, Puppet and SCCMExperience with AD/DNS/DHCP/NPS, Nutanix and VMwareExperience in operating systems and standards including Windows 10, Windows Server 2008R2/2012/2016/2019, Microsoft/Office 365Ability to plan, organize, prioritize tasks, and complete assigned projects with minimal supervision.An understanding of code review and familiarity with tools like GitHub and GitLabExperience using tools such as Grafana and Nagios to monitor systems.Knowledge and experience of Dell PowerEdge, Supermicro and Nutanix Hardware.Experience installing, Configuring Red hat Satellite patching tool and patch Linux systems using it. Knowledge on cloud-based infrastructure such as OCI and AWS. Knowledge on Cisco Nexus switch and Understanding InfiniBand, RoCE Switch.Knowledge on ZFS file systems.Experience in collaborating with global IT infrastructure team to execute various global initiatives to deploy and support IT infrastructure across global sites.Knowledge and experience in ITIL methodology Knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure security B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science or Computer engineering or equivalent fieldM.E or M.Tech is a plus PRB
