Key Responsibilities:Coordination and Scheduling:Oversee and schedule pickups and loadings to ensure timely and accurate distribution of purchase orders.Coordinate with various stakeholders, including suppliers, transportation providers, and internal teams to manage logistics efficiently.Schedule appointments for deliveries and pickups, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met.Manage the logistics calendar to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth operations.Delivery Management:Ensure all purchase orders are delivered accurately and on time.Monitor the delivery process, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions to any disruptions.Maintain communication with delivery teams to track progress and handle any last-minute changes or urgent deliveries.Verify the accuracy of delivery documents and update records accordingly.Inventory Management:Manage the inventory of packaging materials and finished goods, ensuring optimal stock levels.Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and address discrepancies promptly.Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes to streamline operations.Coordinate with procurement teams to replenish stock as needed, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations.Documentation and Compliance:Ensure all logistics documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.Maintain records of all logistics activities, including shipping and receiving documents, inventory reports, and delivery schedules.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the logistics operations.Process Improvement:Identify areas for process improvement within logistics operations and implement effective solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency.Analyze logistics performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.Continuously seek ways to improve logistics operations, reduce costs, and enhance service quality. Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within the FMCG or dairy products industrySkills:Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Proficiency in logistics management software and inventory systems.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in logistics.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Timeliness of Deliveries: Achieve on-time delivery rates for all purchase orders.Inventory Accuracy: Maintain high accuracy levels in inventory records and audits.Cost Efficiency: Optimize logistics operations to reduce costs while maintaining service quality.Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all logistics activities comply with regulatory requirements and documentation standards.Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and effectiveness.
