The incumbent would be responsible to manage the entire gamut of project procurements for all business units ie- Hospitals, New projects, Clinics, Retail Pharmacy, Diagnostics chains etc. Lead a team and plan, organize, delegate work and monitor the entire cycle of material procurement & vendor management.Job description:Manage end to end procurement process of brown filed and green field projects i.e.- Civil, Interior, all infra related projects, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Lifts, DG sets, MGPS, CCTV, Fire safety, Sanitary ware, Pumps, CAPEX items etc.Multi-site procurement managementVendor management; Vendor evaluation and selectionContracts management: Floating of Tenders, bid evaluation, Evaluating the Terms and Conditions of the Contract along with Technical Specification, Special and General Conditions of Contract. Contract negotiation and Award of works.Participate in procurement committee meetings and provide management with weekly reports on status of procurement requests.Prepare quarterly procurement performance reports and market research reports for review by management.Develop and maintain a list of approved suppliers to track quality of supplies/equipment, encourage competitive pricing and ensure timely awards and execution of contracts.Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with suppliers to encourage prompt responses to requests, open dialogue and cooperation in identifying best options that add value to purchasing decisions.Develop Enterprise procurement strategy for projects & Equipment procurement and AMC/CMC contracts.Liaise with suppliers to ensure adherence to contract agreements and lead corrective action plans in the instance of breach of contract.Evaluate product / arrange the equipment demo to users before negotiation.Take on any other related duties which may be assigned.Lessons learnt on other projects to be shared between various members of preconstruction team.To understand Business need and ensure delivery of such issues (related to procurement management)Qualifications and Competencies: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering / mechanical/ Any Engineering (Civil Engg Preferred)Minimum 15-20 years' Experience of handling brown field and green field projects of Hospitals /large projects such as townships, multi storied buildings, commercial complexes etc. Experience in Group purchase or in corporate purchase will be an added advantage.Ability to collect and analyze information to make accurate input for negotiations and procurement decision.Sufficient knowledge and understanding of procurement laws in India.High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and intermediate Power Point skillsExcellent communications and interpersonal skills including fluency in English, ability to communicate effectively with different groups; maintain respectful demeanor towards colleagues, suppliers and representatives of partner institutions, and have good report writing skills.Good computer literacy skills, with competencies in spreadsheets, word processing, power point, electronic communications applications, including teleconferencing.
