Inviting applications for the role of Inventory Accounting.We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge and understanding of the entire Inventory Accounting process. We need someone with strong operational knowledge & proven track record of running high performing teams in Inventory AccountingIn this role, you will be expected to work on strict deadlines in a business environment. This role may require travelling to onshore sites for Knowledge Transfer.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for all the activities related to Inventory Accounting domainManage and Own the end-to-end Inventory Accounting process with minimum supervisionRetail industry exposure A job description of inventory accountant includes responsibilities of maintaining accurate inventory records, reconciling inventory accounts, analyzing inventory discrepancies.It also includes preparing inventory reports, and collaborating with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy. It may also involve monitoring inventory levels, conducting audits, and implementing inventory control procedures to minimize errors and losses.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software are often required.Maintain strong customer relations & business acumenResponsible for all the activities related to Inventory AccountingAwareness/understanding of industry best practices and industry benchmarking. To create the vision from as is state to improved state for processMaintain strong customer relations & business acumen. Manage Client and Process independently and with minimum supervisionShould be able to speak to the US based clients to discuss the input and resolve any queries for disputesLeverage appropriate advanced and sophisticated methods and approaches to synthesize, clean, visualize and investigate data as appropriate to deliver analytical recommendations aligned with the business needConsult to identify risks and opportunities that impacts the performance of the business and convert them into analytical solutions and provide appropriate actionable insightsActively manage the business continuity plans for the processAbility to meet outlined and expected standards of timeliness and accuracy in completion of work, through prioritization of team tasksContinuous coaching and developing Assistant Managers & Management Trainees: hire, assess, and document performanceSupport team priorities and initiatives and effectively manage workloadTeam management & negotiation skills. Must have a Problem-solving attitudeLookout for automation opportunities to bring efficiencyPartner with Human Resources to handle client engagement staffing levels, develop employees, manage performance issues and/or gaps, succession planning and employee retentionConfirm that proper escalation procedures are followed according to established business practicesShould be able to communicate effectively with team and management and identify issues and concerns that may affect the performance of the job and communicate the same to leadershipUnderstanding and Reporting of Service Level AgreementDeliver the required data for audit purposesExposure to Six Sigma training preferred, drive team to continuously improve in key operational metrics, analytical mindset to identify QPA/RPA opportunities and work with LDT team for implementationParticipate in governance meetings at country / region level; Closely work with the team and ensure right collaboration between team members to meet deliverablesMaking the accounting process controls established through the internal policiesDaily Quality Check for the matching which team has matched.Qualifications we seek in you!Minimum Qualifications· B. Com Graduate or equivalent experience. Should be Analytically & Academically sound· Must have prior work experience in Inventory Accounting domain· Excellent Leadership skills.
