Job Objective:Design, develop, and deliver Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Science products to all Nouryon's business units and functions globally to support Nouryon's business strategies and execution.At Nouryon, our global team of Changemakers takes positive action every day, to reach higher collectively and individually. We create innovative and sustainable solutions for our customers to answer society's needs - today and in the future.About the job (Job Responsibilities) The position exists to develop AI Data Science products, manage project timelines, mentor junior team members, and coordinate with the IM/IT department on data-related tasks. This function is highly specialized, requiring expertise in AI, machine learning, optimization, and large-scale simulation techniques. The individual is hired based on their ability to perform these specialized functions. More detailed information are:Design, develop, and deliver Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Science products leveraging machine learning (including Generative AI), mathematical programming-based optimization, and large-scale simulation techniques and technologies.Liaise with business and functional stakeholders to understand their analytical needs, define their requirements, understand input streams, and design/develop solutions to deliver desired outcomes. Exemplary analyses needed relate to productivity/sales growth, pricing/margin, engineering, research and development, demand/inventory planning, operational performance, quality management, procurement/supply chain, trade, and inclusion/diversity.Own the timeline, executions, and successful delivery of AI Data Science projects.Coach, develop, and mentor junior team members on data science tools and methodologies.Partner with IM/IT department to coordinate data pipeline, solution architecture, and model deployment.We believe you bring (Education & Experience) Minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, optimization, and big data analytics with a Bachelor's degree, or 1 year with a Master's degree or PhD.Required Qualification: B.S, MS, PHD.Bonus for 2+ years of data science/analytics experience in major consulting firms.Critical thinking to determine the root cause of problems.Data Translation and CommunicationUnderstanding of Analytics MethodsAdaptability with Technical ToolsIntellectual CuriosityTime ManagementCommunication SkillsOutstanding Collaboration capabilityExperience in algorithm design, machine learning, and/or optimization and simulation. Hands-on coding and model development experience with Python (Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, Keras, etc)experience in optimization, simulation, PySpark, and/or LangChain.
