By upholding our values of respect, excellence, collaboration and integrity Al-Futtaim Group continues to enrich the lives and aspirations of our customers each and every dayOverview of the role:Ensure courteous and professional handling of the customer during the latter's visit to Body shop and prepare estimates that ensure Customer Retention and Profitability.What you will do:Execute assigned jobs according to established work standards, specifications and required timeMaintain the discipline of the service establishment, safe and clean reception area through strict adherence of company rules, regulations and proceduresKeep up with new technology, work procedures, time standards and relevant technical know-how to maintain or improve work productivity and quality.Meet & greet the customer as per BYD Standards & advises customer on necessary repairs and maintenance to formulate the best service plan for their budget and needs.Provides cost estimate to customers if required & answer question posed by customersExplain terms & conditions of Estimate/Repair to customer.Prepare work order & after approval assigns technician to perform vehicle body repair for specific damage typeMaintains electronic and/or paper records of completed service work. Inspects work completed by Technicians before delivering vehicle to customer Explains the work completed and makes suggestion for future maintenance & provides billing statements and explains billing details to customerPerform other tasks assigned by immediate superior or manager, if necessaryContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededPerform all duties and responsibilities mentioned in the related business SOPsComply with the BYD Quality Management System and participate with organization's improvement activitiesCarry out work with care ensuring not to endanger the life either of themselves or others by theirs acts or omissions whilst complying with health and safety requirements of the company and preventing any harm to the environment. Required skills to be successful:Knowledge of Body parts and general mechanical components of repair of Body & Paint Product and process knowledge including EV structureTechnically proficient. Customer orientedAbout The Team Reporting to the Body Shop Manager, you will be working in a dynamic and busy EV After Sales environment wherein you will be dealing directly with different Stakeholders across the organization.What Equips You For The Role3 to 5 years overall experience with automotive industry, preferably in a similar service role related with EV's.
