is currently seeking a Procurement Officer to join our team. As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process of goods and services for the company. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services at competitive prices.Responsibilities:Plan and implement procurement strategies to meet company objectivesIdentify potential suppliers and maintain good relationships with existing suppliersConduct market research and analysis to source the best quality products and services at competitive pricesNegotiate contracts, terms, and prices with suppliersManage the procurement process from requisition to purchase orderEnsure timely delivery of goods and servicesCoordinate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needsMonitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputesMaintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentationAdhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standardsMechanical Background Mechanical - Shutdown & TurnaroundsRequirementsBachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related fieldProven experience as a procurement officer or in a similar roleKnowledge of procurement processes, policies, and best practicesStrong negotiation and communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in MS Office and procurement softwareAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and meet tight deadlinesKnowledge of relevant laws and regulationsProfessional certification in procurement is a plus
