Develop systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g. salaries, benefits, OT, deductions, taxes and third party payments)Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systemsOversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgradesEnsure compliance with relevant lawsSupervise and coach payroll clerks and assistantsLiaise with auditors and manage payroll tax auditsCollaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teamsMaintain accurate records and prepare reportsResolve issues and answer payroll-related questionsEmployee Relations
