We have opportunities for hard working, enthusiastic and reliable people just like you.What you'll doProvide great customer serviceScan products and process customer transactions accuratelySupport in the delivery of company-directed promotions and programsHandle cash and credit card transactionsKeep the register area neat and stocked with essential suppliesAssist customers with general inquiriesMaintain a positive environment in the storeBalance Front End Tills and Safe.Reconcile cash over and shortsSupport front end team and act as a subject matter expert on front end processes.Supervise front end staff to keep department running efficiently.HUMAN RESOURCES:Ensures cashier/merchandising staff comply with all store policies and operating proceduresTrains cashiers/merchandisers in job functionsProvides on-going guidance and instructionLOSS PREVENTION:Ensures all loss prevention standards are implemented, manages daily cash office inventory and cashier tracking, tracking sheets, PC Optimum proceduresCUSTOMER SERVICE:Ensures store employees present proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform PolicyAnswers inquiries regarding location of product, rainchecks, etc.Resolves customer issues according to established guidelines (refunds, exchanges, etc.)GENERAL:Ensures standards of housekeeping and store image are maintainedComplies with all Health and Safety requirementsComplies with all store policies and proceduresComplies with loss prevention policies and procedures and ensures they are executed in the storePerform other duties as required including Cashier duties when necessaryQUALIFICATIONS:Planning, Judgement and Decision MakingIndependent thinking as it relates to organizing storeProblem solving is essential to ensure customer satisfactionMust have Cash Office experience.Supervisory experience is an asset.Must be able to operate cash registers and perform override functions.EXPERIENCE:Retail managementComputer literateOrganizedEfficient time management skillsKnowledge of products and suppliesPlease Note:Candidates who are 18 years or older are required to complete a criminal background check.
