Al-Futtaim's Retail Division holds a stable of world class brands operating in buoyant markets with huge growth prospects. Some of our brands are Marks & Spencer, Toys R Us, and IKEA as well as Robinsons with a range of smaller brands selected for their appeal to the markets in which we operate. We currently operate our Retail outlets across the Middle East and in South East Asia.We now have an exciting role for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Retail HRآ teamآ in Saudi Arabia.In this role you will be responsible for all Retail operations in KSA providing a strategic overview of the business development to ensure that the existing business is ready for expansion and the new stores have the competence to deliver. Design, develop and implement relevant HR strategies and practices that build on best practice retail and comply with Group HR policy.Other key responsibilities will include:آ* Ensure the HR function of the brand is managed in accordance within country local legislation;* Provide consultative advice to managers and staff on a wide range of HR matters including discipline/ grievance and performance management;* To work with Finance and the Expansion team to plan, prepare and present the new store structure and the relevant new headcount proposals* To ensure that the Service Office is fully staffed and has the resource to support the continuity of existing business and the expansion plans* To work with AF Recruitment and Country Heads of HR to ensure that the new stores follow local labour law and adhere within company policy* Create, obtain approval for and manage HR Department budget for new and existing business to support the opening plan logistics* Work with the Director HR - Retail to ensure that the People agenda is considered at all times within the overall Business strategy and annual business plan* Act as a trusted business partner and coach to the country manag To be seriously considered we will be looking for the following:* Preferably tertiary or CIPD qualified;* Minimum of five years generalist HR experience within the retail sector, ideally in Saudi Arabia.آ* Extensive HR operations experienceآ in Saudi Arabia* Knowledge of Arabic language is essential* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence a broad range of stakeholders* Energetic, solutions focused individual,* Excellent consultancy and conflict resolution skills.* Strong commercial acumen About The Company Established in the 1930's, the Al-Futtaim Group initially operated as a trading enterprise.
