Fire Life Safety Engineer (Rail Experience) Trending ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Dealing in Passive & Active Fire Protection systems required as per the Local Civil Defense Regulations & NFPA standards. Managing the integration and validation activities of the Design and Build Contractor, together with the validation of all Testing and Commissioning plans and test procedures for the Railway Systems activities.Design and implementation of Fire protection, Fire Life Safety, CFD Analysis, TMCS - Tunnel Ventilation, Monitoring & Control Systems. RAIL SCADA - Life Safety Systems, Detection systems. Reviewing a Fire & Life Safety Report for the proposed Architectural Designs of station, tunnels, Depots, Park & Ride Buildings, Viaducts, etc. as per the NFPA & Saudi Civil Defense Rules & regulations.Responsible to check & give approval on Contractor preparation and submission design drawings, design calculations, design narrative, material and equipment submittals as per project requirements, Issue RFI's, Answering Contractors/clients/ Site clarification.Supporting the Operational team at site for Technical, installations & Design Clarifications, to all other departments and contractors in relation to life safety and fire protection as required. Conducting weekly meeting with team for further Proactive progress at siteEfficiently and effectively carry out fire protection inspections to approve & maintain the design standards in accordance with Fire Department services. Update and sign-off with the Client including approval from relevant authorities at appropriate stages, to deliver performance-based solutions.Going for weekly site meeting, Attending site Inspections, with Clients/Contractors for Technical clarification & Site mockup approvals.
