German AccountantOverview:Alkegen is seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Accountant to join our finance team. The accountant will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling the company's general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:General Ledger Maintenance:and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.accuracy and completeness of all journal entries and financial transactions.review and analyse financial records and timely identify discrepancies.Month-End Close:in the month-end closing process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.to independently execute accounting tasks.financial statements and reports for management review.and investigate variances to ensure accurate financial reporting.Financial Reporting:in the preparation of internal and external financial statements.support for audits and regulatory compliance.ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as needed.Process Improvement:opportunities for process improvements in the accounting function.in cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.best practices and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.Compliance and Internal Controls:in the documentation and testing of internal controls.internal and external audits as needed.Qualifications:in accounting or finance mandatory, professional degree preferred.understanding of Balance Sheet (BS) reconciliations and Trial Balance (TB).understanding of accounting principles and concepts like Accruals, Prepaid, etc.in Microsoft Excel.analytical and problem-solving skills.with a high degree of accuracy.to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.communication and interpersonal skills.Join Alkegen and be part of a dynamic finance team dedicated to excellence in financial reporting and analysis within the manufacturing industry.
