Broker - Construction Aon KSA Overview of the role You will help get results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Construction Services Practice Group within Aon Risk Solutions. This will be a national position addressing the needs of our clients across the country. You will report directly to the Country Head of Speciality - KSA. What the day will look like Serving clients across KSA (and possibly some regional projects) by collaborating with Account Executives to develop coverage strategy and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business in the Construction segment Analyzing client specific risk exposure and detailed coverage requirements; preparing and presenting marketing proposals for renewals and new business Negotiating with underwriters to establish the best terms and conditions with respect to premiums and coverage Continually working to develop thought leadership and expertise through networking, technical training, and market/industry/client discussions Presenting current trends and issues to interested parties internally and externally Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with the underwriting community, with a focus on Construction specialty markets Working with the Insurer to finalize and confirm the terms of the agreed-upon contract are met Working with colleagues across Aon global network in the placement of annual and project specific coverages Preparing, reviewing, and approving client-ready documentation, including proposals, analysis, comparisons, manuscript policy documents, mid-term changes, new business and renewals in conjunction with other team members Providing leadership, mentorship and direction to assist with the growth and development of Associate Brokers or other members of the Construction Services Group. Demonstrating and sharing the importance of best practices. Skills and experience that will lead to success Experience in construction insurance required, specifically with placing or underwriting Property including Contractors Equipment, Master Builders Risk, Casualty - CGL / Umbrella / Excess / Master Wrap Up, project specific Builders Risk and Wrap Up coverages Relevant local insurance broking license Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team Ability to participate and contribute in meetings with senior to executive level underwriters and clients Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Outstanding organization skills and the ability to prioritize competing projects in sometimes fast paced situations Excellent digital literacy including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of programs Dedication to ongoing learning and professional development Full fluency in English, both written and spoken How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
