About our Centre: We are so grateful for our beautiful and spacious outdoor area, with fruit trees, gardens and fresh cut grass, which keep our tamariki active and engaged, and provide the perfect environment for our tamariki to be children, to run, bike ride, laugh and play. You'll often hear laughing, singing and happy giggles when you arrive at our centre as children enjoy being busy throughout the centre. W e welcome whānau in our community to come and look through our beautiful grounds. About you: As the Centre Manager of Busy Bees Greytown, you will have access to an excellent support network within the group, along with a Regional Manager who is committed to coaching and developing your success. We value Professional Development for all our teachers and are committed to upskilling and growing your professional development. As a passionate and experienced leader, you will wear many hats to allow you to manage in an ever-evolving environment and be adaptable to meet a variety of needs. You will have a strong “on the floor” presence, providing mentoring and role modelling of exceptional teaching practice to the team. As well as being responsible for creating solid community relationships, compliance management, mentoring and driving exceptional standards of teaching, you will be an integral part of making decisions which will drive the future focus for the centre, both in terms of environment and education. Role Requirements:- An inspirational leader with an innate ability to develop, lead a team to deliver best practice childcare services
- B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
- Demonstrated leadership experience you will love to coach, mentor and inspire!
- Initiative, desire and passion for quality practice standards and commitment to the principles of Te Whāriki
- Familiarity with the New Zealand Education Council, ERO, MOE requirements, Licensing Criteria, 2008 Regulations and Code of Ethics
- A comprehensive understanding of how to maintain and grow occupancy levels
